Former Vice President Dick Cheney and his daughter Liz canceled a speaking appearance in Canada because of security concerns sparked by demonstrations during a visit he made last fall to Vancouver.

Cheney was to talk about his time in office and about the political situation in America today at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on April 24^th.

Many groups around the world would like to have President Bush and Dick Cheney arrested for war crimes.

Last time Mr. Cheney went to Vancouver, NDP MP Don Davies asked Immigration Minister Jason Kenney to bar Vice President Cheney from entering Canada. The grounds for the war crimes are Cheney’s support for the use of allowing water boarding and sleep deprivation against terror suspects.
