Monday in New Hampshire Mitt Romney accused President Barack Obama of trying to distract the American people from his record on the nation's economy.

Romney talked about how Obama’s regulatory and energy policies have harmed small business owners and said that Regulators were “multiplying like proverbial rabbits.”

Once again we have to point out that Mitt Romney is being dishonest, and that President Obama has created less new regulations than his Republican predecessor in the same time period.

As for the economy the President was handed the worst recession in history from the Republicans and has worked hard to get people working again. The Republicans with the help of Republican Governors have worked against the creation of jobs by giving pink slips to teachers, police, fire, rescue and public employees. Republican governors also stopped many construction projects that would have helped the construction industry.  

The blame for a slow economy should be directed at Republicans for doing everything they can to make President Obama fail.
