How can a man that has so much money, so many homes, lots of cars and plenty of time to travel the world not be more generous to others?

Just think back just a few short months ago when almost every Republican was bad-mouthing Mitt Romney every chance they got. Many of the GOP candidates themselves said Mitt would be an awful president. Ann Coulter said “If Romney is the nominee the Republicans will lose the election to Obama.”

Why is it rich people get so rich that they just want to get richer? Just look at how much rich people are spending now to influence our vote in picking our next president. So far as of today the total is around 202 million dollars. Now rich people like the Koch brothers must donate to candidates for a reason, right? Like maybe the next president will help cut regulations so they can cut corners at some of the industries they own.

It sure would be nice if the rich would worry less about getting richer. Just think what 202 million dollars would do for all the people still living in tents in Haiti after the 2010 earthquake. What if this money was spent on shipping nice travel trailers to Haiti? It would help the people of Haiti and it would increase jobs here at home. The rich could invest in the companies that build the trailers. Isn't this better than buying a president?

I just did a little research on the cost of a pretty nice travel trailer which is around $14,000. With the money spent so far on this November's election America could send around 14,428 travel trailers to Haiti. The last time I looked there were 634,000 people still living in displacement camps.

You would think rich guys like Mitt Romney and the Koch brothers could put their money to better use than building more houses for themselves with car elevators and winning the White House.

Just think of the good these families could do for the poor and the down on their luck rather than trying to amass bigger wealth and power.
