You have to love America for many reasons but one of the big reasons is freedom of speech. We of course don't have to listen to what you say or we can protest against it. Sometimes for some of us freedoms can go too far as Hank Williams Jr. did at the state fair in Iowa recently.

I for one think any state fair or other type of concert event that hires Hank Williams Jr. in the future just shows what little respect they have for America and the American president.

Now I don't want to lower myself down to the basement of our society but I can't let what Hank Williams Jr. said in Iowa go by.

At the Iowa State Fair, Williams bashed Obama to a crowd saying, "We've got a Muslim president who hates farming, hates the military, hates the U.S. and we hate him!"

Mr. Williams may think he's funny or just maybe he's crying out for attention. But you have to feel kind of sorry for him; he just shows us what a true low life looks and sounds like. He may think what he says about President Obama is helping the Far Right Republican agenda but it's not.

Most of us that voted for President Obama did so because of the person he is. President Obama has more class in one finger nail than crude Hank Williams Jr. will ever have. Hank, when you say stupid ignorant statements like you did in Iowa it just makes you look like the biggest jackass.

Mr. Williams, President Obama is a Christian and not a Muslim and I'm sure he can forgive your evil vile tongue. Even if President Obama was a Muslim he would still be a far better person than you will ever be.

Why would you say President Obama hates the farmers, Hank? President Obama is trying to help the farmers in America because of the drought. Oh I'm sorry Hank, I just figured it out, you probably don't know how to read so of course you don't know all the good our president is doing.

The last part of your hate rant in Iowa should not be “we hate him” because many of us don't. You should have said “I hate him!”

Mr. Williams, you are a racist and the lowest class of white trash there is in the world.

It's your kind of right wing nuts that have driven many of us away from the Republican Party.
