2012 Elections is about Money & Suffering

This election is not just about jobs and the debt; there are many, many more important issued buried in this November's election.

The Republican Party says they are worried about America's debt but they seem to worry more about not letting the rich pay a little extra towards the debt bill. They don't seem to be concerned that their candidate for president has put money in offshore and Swiss bank accounts to avoid paying his fair share of taxes.

Republicans don't seem to think that women should have the right to decide whats best for their bodies. They don't want them to be able to have options when it comes to sex and birth control.

Republicans this year seem to want to keep as many non-white voters away from the polls as they can. This fact was pointed out in the courts in Texas, Florida and Ohio just last week.

Republicans have an agenda to change programs that Americans love by either not funding them correctly or making them fail. One example is Medicare. Republicans want to make this a voucher program so their corporate buddies can start making a profit off this program. They also want to do the same thing to Social Security which is working just fine for older Americans.

Another issue is the wars we are involved in. Many Republicans don't like the fact that President Obama is winding down our wars. We as a nation spend way too much on our military. The hawks in the Republican Party don't want to cut military spending and yet don't seem to have a problem cutting from domestic programs that help the sick, poor and elderly. To me the Republicans are the party for suffering!

They double-talk that they are pro-life and yet they seem to always want to get our men and women into wars. They don't care if the unemployed starve to death. They don't care if Americans can afford health care. And now they want private for profit companies to make money off old peoples' meager Social Security funds.

There's something wrong with the Republican Party today. I'm all for keeping costs under control. I'm not for a party that shows no regards for people. Oh, on that statement I was wrong. Yes, Republicans do show regard-- for the rich.

  1. This is not my father's GOP. I don't want waste in welfare or wanton spending - who DOES? I won't vote for the Republicans because I see them as the party of the incredibly profane and ignorant. Hyping Mitt Romney as THE ONE after his constant flip flopping is ludicrous and dangerous.

When times are hard, there are people throughout history who will look for someone to blame or scapegoat. This is the very definition of today's GOP.

This country is facing some serious issues and it's time for the GOP, the party of NO to step aside and let the adults do the job. Focus on the economy and not on my wife and daughter's private parts, please.
